I began my career in the Travel Industry in 2000 as a Travel Director for Maritz Travel Company, the leader in incentive award travel. While at Maritz, I was part of a team that planned, executed and managed award travel programs and meetings for Fortune 500 companies. During this time, I traveled over 250 days a year executing trips around the world.
After my Maritz days, I worked as a Flight Attendant, transporting military troops in and out of the Middle East and beyond. It was here that my love for "off the beaten track" travel blossomed. Some of my favorite destinations during those years were: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Kosovo, Qatar and Bahrain.
After living out of a suitcase for over 10 years it was time to slow down so I went to work for a Destination Company in Atlanta and started a family. It has been my pleasure to show my children the world, revisiting places I've been and seeing it through their eyes.
